DURO! is a powerful African stage play exploring love, destiny, and the forces linking the living to the spirit world. Duro, an Abiku— a spirit child trapped in a cycle of death and return—chooses to remain with her devoted mother. But the spirit realm longs for her enchanting voice and sends her celestial husband, Jankariwo, to reclaim her for the rare Festival of the Red Moon. Torn between eternal love and earthly devotion, Duro must choose her true home.
